Oi!! Voila 2 semaines que j'ai recu le programme du voyage organise par le Rotary et une compagnie de voyage australienne. Ca a l'air barbare. Ca durera 3 semaines et on sera entre 30 et 40 etudiants normalement. Le voyage partira de Sydney, on remontera toute la cote Est et puis on s'enfoncera dans les terre et on ira vers le centre rouge de l'Australie! Voici le programme en anglais. J'ai fais la traduction juste en dessous de chaque jour pour les moins courageux:P. 
Student educational and adventure camping safari 2nd to 24th May 2008 DAY 1: (LD) All students will fly into Sydney this morning. Your air conditioned coach will collect you from the airport and transfer you to your accommodation for the next two nights. We watch a tent set up and dismantle demonstration, before there is free time to explore. SYDNEY Jour 1 Tous les etudiants volent jusque Sydney. Votre car climatise passera vous prendre a l'aeroport et vous transferra a vos accomodations (camping) pour les deux muits prochaines. Nous regarderons la demonstration d'un montage de tente (qui serviront durant tout le voyage) avant d'avoir un temp libre pour explorer. DAY 1: (BLD) This morning we enjoy a city sights tour. We will show you Bondi Beach and Watsons Bay before heading to Sydney’s City Hall, the Opera House, Darling Harbour, Centre point Tower and the Queen Victoria Building. There is free time to explore the city before we return to our campground for the night. SYDNEY Jour 1 Ce matin, nous allons apprecier un tour autour de Sydney. Nous allons vous montrer Bondi Beach (une des plages les plus reputees d'Australie) et Watsons Bay (connait pas) avant d'aller au Hall de Sydney, L'Opera House (le fameux opera), Darling Harbour, Centre Point Tower et le building de la Reine Victoria. Il y aura un temps libre pour visiter la ville avant de retourner a notre campement pour la nuit. DAY 2: (BLD) This morning we say farewell to Sydney and travel North. We arrive at Port Macquarie and visit the Koala Hospital, the only specialised hospital for Koala’s in New South Wales. We enjoy lunch at a local park before taking a scenic walk in a local National Park. Return to camp for dinner. PORT MACQUARIE Jour 2 Ce matin, nous disons au revoir a Sydney et nous rendons vers le Nord. Nous arrivons a Port Macquarie et visitons l'Hopital pour Koalas, le seul hopital specialise pour les koals dans le New South Wales (etat du sud est). Nous apprecierons un diner dans un parc local avant d'entreprendre une marche vers un parc national local. Retour au camp pour souper... DAY 3: (BLD) A short drive up the coast takes us to Byron Bay, famous for its surf, friendly locals and speciality shops. We stop for lunch before enjoing a scenic walk in the National Park. There is free time to explore the town before dinner. BYRON BAY Jour 3 Un petit trajet jusqu a la cote nous ammene a Byron bay, fameuse pour son surf, ses locaux amicaus et ses magasins specialises. Nous nous arretons pour le diner avant une marche dans un parc national.(Les parcs nationaux sont des parties d'Australie ou ils laissent la faune et la flore dans leur etat naturel : interdiction de construction). Il y aura un temps libre pour visiter la ville avant le diner. DAY 4: (BLD) Today we split into groups of 15 and head to the Ballina River. Qualified instructors will be waiting to take you on the ride of your life. Board Kayaks and head down the local waterways. If you are lucky you will see dolphins up close. Please do not attempt to touch them or paddle too close, listen carefully to your instructors as you paddle back to shore after a memorable experience! There is time this afternoon to explore the town of Byron Bay before heading back to camp in the early evening for dinner. BYRON BAY Jour 4 Aujourd'hui, nous nous divisons en groupe de 15 et allons jusqu a la Riviere Ballina. Des instructeurs qualifies attendrons pour vous prendre dans le "ride" de votre vie! Kayaks et descente dans les voies naviguables. Si vous etes chanceux, vous verrez des dauphins de pres. S'il vous plait, ne temptez pas de les toucher ou de pagayer trop pres, ecouter vos instructeurs attentivement et vous aurez des souvenirs memorables. Il y aura du temps l'apres-midi pour explorer la ville de Byron Bay avant de retourner au camp dans la soiree pour le diner. DAY 5: (BLD) This morning we head North to Queensland’s fun capital – the Gold Coast. Today we enjoy a tour of the City before there is free time to explore the many shops. Return to camp late afternoon to relax. LABRADOR Jour 5 Ce matin, nous nous rendons dans la capitale de l'amusement du Queensland (autre etat, dans le nord est): la Gold Coast. Aujourd hui, nous ferons un tour autour de la ville avant un temps libre pour visiter les nombreux magasins, Retour au camp tard dans l apres midi pour se relaxer. DAY 6: (BLD) Today is free for you to explore, you can visit the local shops or the driver will take you to one of the local Theme Parks (at own expense). You can choose from Dreamworld, Wet n Wild or Movie World. LABRADOR Jour 6 Aujourd'hui est libre d'exploration; vous pouvez visiter les magasins locaux ou le chauffeur vous emmenera dans un des parcs a Themes nationaux (payez vous meme). Vous pouvez choisir entre Dreamworld, wet n wild ou Movie world. DAY 7: (BLD) We head up the coast to the Sunshine Coast, famous for the white sands and uncrowded beaches. We enjoy a scenic National Park walk and there is time to enjoy surfing lessons (at own expense). COOLUM BEACH Jour 7 Nous allons a la Sunshine Coast, celebre pour ses sables blancs et ses plages "non bondees". Nous apprecierons une marche dans un parc national et pourrons prendre des lecons de surf (payez vous meme).-->ca, je fais:D. DAY 8: (BLD) We head North this morning, passing through the country towns of Nambour and Gypmie. Can you feel the temperature getting warmer? We camp tonight in Raglan, south of Rockhampton in local gun club. Tonight we enjoy a roast dinner and sleep undercover. RAGLAN Jour 8 Nous nous rendons dans le Nord ce matin, passant a travers des villes nationales : Nambour et Gypmie. Pouvez-vous sentir la temperature se rechauffer?(pas encore maintenant devant le pc mais j espere que bientot oui:D). Nous campons a Raglan, dans le sud de Rockhampton dans un clug de tir local. Ce soir, diner et dodo "undercover"-->need help, je sais pas traduire ca... DAY 9: (BLD) The sight of the Tropic of Capricorn marker signals that we are passing through Rockhampton, the beef capital of Australia. We stop briefly for photographs before heading further North. Fields of sugarcane flank the road from Mackay, site of the world's largest sugar handling facility. Now the land becomes more suited to grazing. Finally we sight the crystal blue waters of the Whitsunday Passage. AIRLIE BEACH Jour 9 La vue du Tropic du Carpicorne signal que nous passons a travers Rockhampton. la capitale australienne du boeuf. Nous nous arretons brievement pour des photos avant d'aller plus dans le nord. Les champs de cannes a sucre longent la route de Mackay, cite de la plus grande production de sucre au monde (je suis pas sur pour la traduction, ca doit etre quelque chose de similaire8-)). Maintenant, le pays devient plus adapte pour les paturages. Finalement, nous regarderons l'eau bleu de crystal dans le passage des Whitsunday (je ne sais pas encore ce que c'est,comme la plupart des choses que j'enonce, je vous en dirais plus dans quelques mois:D) DAY 10: (BLD) Join Ocean Rafting today as we explore on powered boats. Spend the day visiting the idyllic Whitsunday passage with Ocean Rafting. The raft visits islands within the Whitsundays. Eco guides explain the impact of the modern world on this beautiful wilderness and water surrounds. Relax on the world famous Whitehaven Beach, snorkel away from the crowds at Border Islands pristine reefs and explore the sacred Aboriginal caves at Nara Inlet and Lookout. AIRLIE BEACH Jour 10 Rejoignez l'ocean aujourd'hui alors que nous l'explorerons sur des bateaux a moteurs. Passez la journee a visiter les passages idylliques des Whitsunday avec Ocean Rafting (c'est peut etre une compagnie qui organises des sports nautiques, qui sait??). Les arfts visteront des iles dans les Whitsundays. Des guides eco expliquetront l'impact du monde moderne sur cette magnifique vie sauvage et les environs aquatiques. Relaxation sur la celebre Whitehaven beach, snorkling (plongee ac tuba) pour visiter des grottes aborigines ( cest ca ou alros je suis completement a cote). DAY 11: (BLD) We say farewell to Airlie Beach and continue North. We arrive at Townsville and enjoy a tour of the town before visiting Reef HQ, an aquarium with corals, fish and sharks. Return to camp to relax or catch up on some washing. TOWNSVILLE Jour 11 Nous disons aurevoir a Airlie Beach et continuons vers le Nord, Nous arrivons a Townsville et apprecions un tour autour de la ville avant de visiter Reef HQ, un aquarium avec des coraux, poissons (ben oui, c est qd meme un aquarium:D) et des requins, Retour au camp pour se relaxer ou faire la lessive. DAY 12: (BLD) Today we head inland towards the dry and hot Centre of Australia. We pass through Charters Towers before arriving in Richmond, home of the largest aquatic dinosaur fossil ever found in the world. Try and find some fossils yourself before heading to camp to relax. RICHMOND Jour 12
Aujourd'hui, nous allons a l'interieur des terres, dans le centre sex et chaud d'Australie. Nous passons a travers Chaters Towers avant d'arrvier a Richmond, maison du plus grand fossile de dinosaure aquatique jamais trouve dans le monde. Essayer et trouver des fossiles par vous meme (Je suppose que c'est le gros trucs bidon ou les organisateurs mettent des pierres dans un bac a sable:P). En avnat au camp pour se relaxer.
DAY 13: (BLD) We continue West and arrive at Mt Isa, technically Australia’s largest city! Copper is king in Mt Isa. The town's skyline is dominated by the profile of the huge mine. We enjoy a tour of this interesting town before heading to camp. MT ISA Jour 13 Nous continuoms a l'Ouest et arrivons a Mt Isa, la plus grande ville australienne de la technique! Copper est roi a Mt Isa. Les gratte-ciel de la ville sont domines par le profil d'une immense mine. Nous apprecierons un tour dans cette ville interessante avec de retourner au camp. DAY 14: (BLD) Today our drive crosses the Barkley Tablelands over land once owned by "The Cattle King" - Sir Sidney Kidman. Tonight we set up our bush camp on the Barkley Tablelands. If the night is clear you will see more stars tonight than you have ever seen. BUSH CAMP Jour 14
Aujourd'hui, notre route croise les Barkley Tablelands possede une fois par "Le roi du betail". Ce soir, nous installons notre campement dans la campagne, sur les Barkley tablelands. Si la nuit est clair, vous verrez plus d'etoiles cette nuit-la que vous n'en aurez jamais vu!
DAY 15: (BLD) This morning we visit the Eggs of the Rainbow Serpent - otherwise known as The Devil's Marbles - are part of aboriginal lore. The Stuart Highway takes us past the geographical centre of Australia, Central Mount Stuart, named after an intrepid Scotsman, John MacDouall Stuart, who crossed the continent on his third attempt! We then arrive in Alice Springs. This evening we make a spectacular musical and visual journey through Australia’s ancient landforms and culture at Andrew Langford’s ‘Sounds of Starlight’ theatre. ALICE SPRINGS Jour 15 Ce matins nous visitons "les oeufs du serpents arc-en-ciel", aussi connu sous le nom de "Devil's Marbles", qui font partie du patrimoine aborigene. La route Stuart nous emmene au dela du centre geographique d'Australie, Central Mount Stuart, nomme apres un intrepide Ecossais, John Macdouall, qui a traverse le continent a sa 3e tentative. Nous arriverons apres cela a Alice Springs. DAY 16: (BLD) Our sightseeing of Alice Springs starts with a visit to the look-out on top of Anzac Hill which offers an all round view of the town. See the vast spread of the MacDonnell Ranges, the Heavitree Gap, Todd River and the surrounding desert landscape. We drive around Alice Springs and see its major landmarks before visiting Australia's unique School of the Air and Rex the reptile demonstration. There is free time to explore the town, catch up on some washing or just relax around the camp. ALICE SPRINGS Jour 16 Notre vue d'Alice Springs debute avec une visite au collines Hanzac, qui nous offre une vue d'ensemble de la ville. regardez l'etendue des Macdonnell Ranges,....et le desert environnant. Nous roulerons autour d'Alice Springs et verrons ses reperes principaux avant de visiter L'unique Ecole de l'air d'Australie (J'en ai entendu parler; ce sont les Australiens qui habitent trop loin de l'ecole qui prennetn des cours par radio) et Rex, la demonstration de reptiles. Il y aura du temps libre pour explorere la ville, faire de la lessive ou juste se relaxer autour du camp. DAY 17: (BLD) Farewell Alice Springs head for Kings Creek Station, we enjoy a ride on a “ship of the desert” before we arrive and set up camp. From there we proceed to Kings Canyon which was used as a spectacular natural back drop in "Priscilla Queen of the Desert". The sheer walls of the Canyon rise up 270 metres, making it the deepest gorge in Central Australia. The more adventurous may like to walk to the rim of the Canyon, which offers spectacular views over the 'Lost City' and 'Garden of Eden'. Tonight we enjoy an evening of fun and frivolity with the “Priscilla Show”. KINGS CREEK Jour 17 Adieu Alice Srpings, direction Kings Creek Station. Nous apprecierons une croisiere sur a bateau du desert (des idees? Je ne vois pas ce que ca pourrait etre...des chameaux?!) avant d'arriver et d'installer le camp. De la, direction le Canyon,haut de 270m, faisant de lui le plus profond d'Australie Central. Les plus intrepides pourront aimer marcher sur le bord du canyon, qui offre une vue spectaculaire sur la citee perdue et le Jardin d eden, Ce soir, nous apprecierons une soiree de fun et de frivolite, avec le priscilla show. DAY 18 (BLD) Today we head to Uluru on the Lasseter Highway. We arrive in the early afternoon and view the magnificent monolith. This evening we head to Sunset Strip and watch the changing faces of this imposing rock as the sun slowly sets on the horizon. AYERS ROCK Jour 18 Aujourd'hui, direction Ulura (un rocher massif de 13 km de perimetre au centre de l'Australie, c est a dire, au milieu de nulle part). Nous arriverons en debut d apres midi et verrons des monolith magnifiques, Cette soiree, nous irons voir le coucher de soleil sur ce rocher et ses faces changeantes en meme temps que le soleil se couche (il parait que c'est SPLENDIDE!) DAY 19 (BLD) Early rise this morning to start the climb up Ayers Rock. Your effort is rewarded with a literally breathtaking view of the surrounding plains, but you should not try to climb the stately Uluru if you are not fit. We take a tour of the Cultural Centre before heading to Kata Tjuta - even larger and, some say, more brooding than Uluru. Optional flights (at own cost) are available over these two central Australia landmarks. & |
